  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year (OTE £60,000 per year)

Our client, a leading manufacturer of transit packaging and pallet stability solutions, is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a significant impact in the FMCG and Warehousing/Distribution sectors.

About the Role: As a Business Development Executive, you will be a key player in the sales team, responsible for new customer acquisition through outbound telemarketing. You will work closely with the marketing team to drive lead acquisition, set up events, and achieve KPI targets. Your main goal will be to generate meaningful conversations and secure appointments with industry decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers in the FMCG and Distribution sectors.
  • Provide feedback to marketing to enhance content and drive new business.
  • Set up events and meetings for trials, packaging audits, and networking.
  • Achieve KPI targets for calls and appointments.
  • Execute campaign calls and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Experience in high-volume outbound sales environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the packaging industry / FMCG is desirable (not essential)
  • A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic team player.
