Product Owner - Financial Risk Management

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and management of our Financial Risk Management solutions with a specific focus on clean energy markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial risk management, optimization techniques, product development, and a deep understanding of the energy markets, particularly renewable energy. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate market needs into actionable product features and ensure the successful delivery of our software solutions.

• Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Financial Risk Management solutions tailored to the unique needs of the clean energy sector.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation in renewable energy risk management.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clean energy producers, traders, and financial institutions, to gather and prioritize product requirements.
• Roadmap Planning: Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery of key features that address financial risks in clean energy markets.
• Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the development team understands the requirements and delivers high-quality solutions.
• Feature Definition: Write clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications for new features and enhancements focused on clean energy financial risk management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption in the clean energy sector.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters, providing regular updates and managing expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement, particularly in the context of renewable energy.
• Customer Advocacy: Engage with clean energy customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and ensure our solutions meet their financial risk management needs.
• Degree in Energy Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in the financial risk management or energy sector with a focus on renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of financial risk management principles, tools, and best practices, particularly in the context of clean energy.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into user-friendly software features.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Passion for clean energy and sustainable solutions is a must. Experience in SaaS products and operating in a software company
