The Backend Developer is a highly skilled professional responsible for ensuring seamless data flow across digital solutions in customers' IT environment. You will design, develop, and maintain backend integrations using leading ETL solutions and develop adapters to connect various applications in order to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement backend integration solutions using ETL solutions (Apache Nifi, Oracle Integration Cloud, Informatica, etc.)
- Create efficient and reusable code to handle large-scale data integration tasks.
- Develop custom scripts and tools to automate data flow processes.
- Data Management:
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple applications.
- Monitor and manage data integration workflows and processes.
- Perform data validation and error handling to maintain data quality.
- System Maintenance:
- Maintain and optimize existing backend integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and system performance.
- Ensure system stability and reliability through regular updates and maintenance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document integration processes, workflows, system configurations, and trouble shooting.
- Generate reports on data integration performance and issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions and processes.
Key Skills:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Extensive knowledge of coding languages, including Java, XML, and SQL.
- Proven work experience as an ETL developer, proficiency in data integration with ETL solutions such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Apache Nifi, Informatica, Mulesoft
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of backend technologies like Python, Java etc.
- Experience developing interfaces and adpaters with Oracle Primavera solutions, knowlege of Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM, Unifier and Aconex data model and endpoints.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle SOA Suite.
- Analytical Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Ability to analyze and optimize integration workflows for performance improvements.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Attention to Detail:
- Keen attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to perform thorough testing and validation of integration solutions.
- Project Management:
- Experience in managing integration projects from conception to implementation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle backend development and data integration.
- Oracle certification is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
