Salary: $106,142.00- $$125,241.00 base per annum

About the role:
We've got a great chance to join a lively team and take the lead in delivering patient centric quality care to clients of the Community Mental Health Service. The Manager oversees the Early Intervention Team (Program for Early Intervention and Prevention of Disability- PEIPOD), the Community Mental Health Rehabilitation Team, Peer Workforce, Pathways to Community Living, and the GP Shared Care Program.

About you:
Looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager with a strong managerial and leadership background, who is dedicated to person centred care. Candidates with significant mental health clinical expertise and managerial/leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

You will have expertise in adult mental health and a strong dedication to supporting marginalized individuals. You will be an advocate who is both passionate and organised. You possess a unique talent for analysing and handling change along with a strong drive to successfully execute those concepts. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team at a senior level with a demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven capacity to independently make decisions while collaborating with a diverse team and adhere to professional and ethical standards when handling challenging scenarios. Display capability to exercise extended autonomy in decision making within a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries in complex situations.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Demonstrated experience in a leadership and management capacity in a clinical setting

3. Recognised post graduate tertiary qualification in a clinical specialty or management (or willingness to undertake same within 12 months)
4. Departmental level experience in operational, financial, human resource, workplace health and safety and effective communication
5. Comprehensive understanding of clinical governance

6. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement principles, clinical policy and procedure development and implementation
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, an electronic medical record / referral system, and excellent time management
