The Assistant Director of Student Wellness Service (SWS) at the Health Promotion Board assists the Deputy Director in managing various child and youth wellness programs. About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Director in the Student Wellness Service (SWS) division. This role is crucial in developing and implementing effective wellness programs for children and youth to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent issues such as obesity and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the conceptualisation, planning, and evaluation of comprehensive wellness programs.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders including parents, educators, healthcare professionals, and public sector partners.
  • Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans to incorporate best practices into HPB's programs.
  • Develop training and health education materials for key stakeholders.
  • Drive research initiatives to inform evidence-based health promotion practices.
  • Enhance program visibility through effective media engagement and public outreach.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Background in public health, healthcare administration, social work, education, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in program management, health promotion, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children, youth, and their parents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management abilities.
