About role:

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced AWS Technical Consultant to join us here at Ingram Micro and support our growth plans as a leading global AWS Services partner. These plans aim to solidify our position as a leading global Services partner with AWS. Technical Consultants are expected to routinely act as the lead on large scale, complex projects and provide mentoring to their fellow technical consultants. Our Technical Consultants provide post-sales technical consultancy, undertake delivery and implementation engagements, as well as providing pre-sales qualification and design to consultancy engagements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical consulting role, with a strong understanding of AWS-centric solutions.

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions:

• Lead large-scale, complex projects and mentor fellow consultants.
• Provide post-sales technical consultancy, delivery, and implementation.
• Conduct pre-sales qualification and design consultancy engagements.
• Analyse customer requirements and recommend solutions.
• Manage the assessment, design, and implementation of solutions.
• Ensure high-quality consultancy assignments and mitigate technical risks.
• Deliver against key vendor programs.
• Produce and update assignment documentation.
• Lead and present at customer opportunities and workshop sessions.
• Identify and support the development of new service propositions and solutions.

Essential Skills, Experience & Requirements:

• AWS Professional / Specialty Certification.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS complex cloud environments.
• Expertise in AWS Optimization Licensing, MAP, and Well-Architected Framework.
• Proficient in compute services, monitoring tools, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with IaC tools, containers, and orchestration tools.
• Strong knowledge of VPCs/Networking, Gen A/I, and Machine Learning.
• Experience with migrations from VMware and/or Azure.
