The purpose of this 6 month FTC is to sit within the retail division, focusing on governance & oversight of funds available through our suite of Workplace DC products. This role does not involve Asset Management responsibilities.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the oversight and governance of funds available for clients and members of Workplace Savings products, ensuring they comply with industry regulations
- Utilising and adhering to the Product Process to ensure products/funds are launched, maintained and closed in accordance with Customer Conduct Risk Policy
- Delivering good customer outcomes in line with Consumer Duty expectations.
- Supporting the technical oversight of the Workplace Savings fund range including corporate actions, fund generation variances and investment related risks management
- Owning the production of fund management information for the investment proposition, driving efficiencies into the sourcing and sharing of data across relevant business channels; Product, Investment Only Platform, LGIM Fund Governance, Member Communications, Distribution and Operations
- Interfacing with and regularly reviewing investment data from LGIM, other internal business areas and external sources to ensure accurate and up to date information is provided to customers, such as costs and charges, risk warnings and fund data/objectives
- Responding to investment related queries from internal business units in regard to the technical aspects of the fund range (availability, pricing, etc)
Requirements
Who we're looking for:
- Experienced in governance & oversight from a retail, workplace background.
- Good working knowledge of Workplace defined contribution market dynamics.
- Experience within the investment proposition and strategy team of a provider, asset manager and/or EBC
- Working knowledge of fund databases, pricing, investment related risks management and fund governance requirements.
- Relevant experience of working with unit linked funds
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities against challenging timescales.
- Knowledge of pension products, investment solution design and strategy preferred
- Professional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable
