Our client who is a financial services provider is seeking a creative and talented Multimedia Graphic Designer to join their dynamic Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling and visually engaging designs for both digital and traditional advertising mediums. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and an eye for detail. As part of the Marketing team, the Multimedia Graphic Designer will work closely with various internal departments and agency partners to produce high-quality visual content and branded material that aligns with the organisation’s brand and marketing objectives.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with the Marketing, agency and internal stakeholder teams to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
- Interpret briefs and conceptualise graphic and multimedia assets across traditional, digital platforms (programmatic/display/GDN), social media including branded material, email campaigns and website graphics.
- Create print materials such as brochures, flyers and advertorials when required.
- Lead and contribute to the creative process, brainstorming and briefing sessions.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from conception to delivery ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Understanding of digital design and best practice across social media and programmatic/display.
- Edit images, fonts and layouts using various graphic design software.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools and technologies.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in Graphic Design preferably in a marketing (corporate) or advertising agency environment.
- Diploma or formal qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
- A strong portfolio of evidence showcasing a range of design projects across digital and print mediums.
- Adobe Creative Cloud: at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop)
- Ability to execute basic video editing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including creation of templates and PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS.
- Proven track record of successful campaigns executed and an ability to show a creative flair on briefs.
