Motion Design Artist

Experienced animator with high level knowledge on 2D animation, motion graphics and video editing.

The Motion Designer is responsible for creating dynamic and visually appealing motion graphics, animations, and video content. They work collaboratively with the team to bring concepts to life and deliver high-quality motion design work.

KEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Video editing, adaptations, versioning and localization for advertisement of global brands for various countries.
• Video compositing and basic sound mixing.
• Design and create captivating motion graphics/2D animations for video deliverables (Adverts, corporate videos, eLearning etc.)
• Create videos in various media including TV, web, mobile, etc.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure high quality solutions, timely delivery and consistent focus
• Able to work independently
• Reports to Senior/Principal/Manager
• Maintain good work communication with partners
• Work with creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
• Follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of working files.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
• Conduct research and gather references for design inspiration.
• Assist in quality assurance checks to ensure design consistency.
• Take initiative on projects to over-deliver new and innovative solutions.
• Create graphic templates for easy use by other team members and client teams.
• Work closely with asset management team/ asset management of incoming and outgoing deliveries (master assets, open files, adapts, etc).
• Ensure proper taxonomy for all the assets.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in the fundamentals of animation.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, etc.).
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience with and a strong portfolio of motion graphics work.
• A never-ending desire to learn new techniques and technology to advance your craft.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
