- Developing, implementing and maintaining the Operational Risk Framework.
- Liaising with relevant risk owners in identifying operational risks and co-ordinating maintenance of the risk register.
- Monitoring areas of operational risk (Compliance risk is overseen by the 2nd line compliance team).
- Reporting on areas out of risk tolerance for senior management/RCA
- Implementing (at 1st line) recommendations of the Risk, Compliance & Audit Committee.
- Coordinating engagement of third parties carrying out independent audits.
- Owning the 1st line management of incident and potential regulatory breaches to ensure risk appetite is maintained, outcomes to customers are fair and continuous improvement and promotion of the process.
- To be the Sales compliance expert supporting change initiatives, undertaking relevant monitoring and providing advice.
- Business partnering with Sales teams to drive a compliant culture
- Providing guidance and advice to the business to aid the understanding of regulatory requirements.
