Technical Analyst

The core responsibility for this role will be the technical administration of the operational requests to maintain the system databases. Activities are focused on BAU and month end/start processes on the firms servicing platform covering client, regulatory and commercial requirements. This task include multi project management for the on-boarding of new portfolio migration to review map and analyse the sellers information to enable transfer / loading of consumer data onto Mars’ systems. The team are accountable to deliver the monthly regulatory reporting to the Central Credit Register (CCR) which includes data extraction, manipulation and analysis to ensure the output is in line with requirements.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure all the requests are received, understood and processed within SLA or escalated where issues present.
• Communication with all relevant stakeholders including the Excom members.
• Maintaining the firms servicing system and applying updates to process various requests
• Administering Loan Arrangements, PIAs and complex long term resolutions
• Conduct monthly CCR Reporting: Data review validation, manipulation into CCR formats and processes.
• Analysing incoming data to ensure data integrity
• On-boarding portfolio’s and Client information from a technical perspective
• Producing ad-hoc, scheduled Management Information data extracts
• Document business and technical processes and assist in the running of core data processes
• Loading incoming files in a variety of formats into SQL Server production database
• T-SQL and SSIS package and Ad-hoc Excel VBA development
• Generation and transmission of outgoing files in a variety of formats
• The role may involve some level of shift work and “on call work”

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and delivery of objectives.
• Technical ability – SQL Knowledge Intermediate
• Educated to degree level – in a quantitative field e.g., data science/computer science/maths/statistics/physics/computer science/economics or relevant equivalent experience
• Experience of managing Data is vital with ability to learn new processes new data, constant learning/evolving
• Previous experience requirements gathering, testing, quality assurance, documentation
• Previous experience in Management Information reporting and analysis would be an advantage
• Experience of evaluating processes and delivering outcomes
• Good communication, influencing skills and confident in communicating with stakeholders both internal and external both written and verbal
• Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, working to tight deadlines.
