Senior UX Designer

Join Bullish's Product team as a Senior UX Designer and shape the future of crypto experiences worldwide. As part of a regulated and trustworthy company, you will create visually appealing user experiences that set industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading the design of intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly experiences. Your work will influence customer-facing designs, internal platforms, and business strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders, to transform ideas into impactful design solutions for a global audience. This position will also play a key role in advancing the development of our design system.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Quickly and independently deliver user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and other design artifacts to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional peers within Product and Engineering in APAC to define initiatives and create thoughtful solutions.
• Collaborate with UX, Product, and Engineering team members, as well as other stakeholders, to define project goals and requirements.
• Be a leader in the UX design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• Work with Product on strategic design and user-experience decisions related to existing and new features for a variety of products.
• Present design work to UX, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Work with developers on VQA to match visual design intent.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of our design system, including defining design principles, components, patterns, documentation, and guidelines.
• Help define and document the Design Team’s processes and libraries.
• Identify and work through design problems from beginning to end and devise elegant product solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design tools and methodologies, advocating for their adoption within the team.
• Consistently elevate the quality of the design by soliciting feedback from peers and stakeholders through formal design reviews, presentations, and design thinking workshops.

Experience & Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of UX design experience, preferably with complex solutions for financial or blockchain applications.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to take projects from start to finish, demonstrating expertise in UX, interaction, and visual design.
• Case studies showing your design process from end to end.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, and Miro.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, including planning and conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and addressing usability and accessibility concerns.
• Proven experience conducting advanced user research, in-depth interviews, and complex usability testing.
• Ability to validate designs independently using experimentation and research techniques.
• Ability to tackle complex UX challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for design decisions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, demonstrating a bias for action.
• Results-oriented and adaptable to change, with a strong desire for creative problem-solving and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team setting, synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
• Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism, and passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.

Preferred but not required:

• Bachelor's degree in design, human behavior-related field (HC)I, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience designing for Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products.
• Experience building and maintaining a design system that evolves with the needs of the platform.
• Experience with UX writing and documentation.
• Experience working with global teams across offices and timezones.
• Basic knowledge of React, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.
