Financial Analyst

Role and Scope of Position:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the research, analysis, evaluation and preparation of reports and documents in support of the benefits group.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares reports and presentations for the benefits group.
• Provides financial and economic analysis to support Benefits in their assessment of long-term initiatives and opportunities.
• Handles the payment and tracking of bills and expenses.
• Performs financial and benchmarking analyses for Benefits projects
• Contributes to the completion of compliance activities including the annual benefit plan audit cycle, review of SOC-1 vendor reports. Documents and raises concerns to key stakeholders. Keeps current on emerging compliance related trends and requests (SOX, IRS) that could impact HR.
• Assists with the preparation of the annual HR and benefits budget and presentations and related monthly and ad hoc reporting. Participates in monthly budget review and ensures all activities related to HR and benefits related invoice processing, and reporting are complete and accurate.
