Financial Crime Prevention – Senior Software Engineer, Tietoevry Banking (m/f/d)

The Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) unit is a leading provider of fraud prevention, anti-money laundering and identity solutions in the Nordics. FCP’s mission is to help keep financial systems and society at large, safe from criminal activity.

In FCP we can offer a flexible position that provides you with the opportunity to grow professionally and use your domain expertise to simplify how our customers consume new financial services. We reduce corporate risk, prevent fraud, and manage AML processes as well as securing that the company’s services are delivered according to regulatory demands.

As part of the team in FCP you will amongst others take part in:

• Develop business critical services for the Identity domain and the FCP platform
• Work closely with product owner, business analyst and architects on solution design
• Develop new services in accordance with best practices based on OpenAPI and REST
• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will get to optimize applications for high performance, scalability, and availability
• Model and deliver technical design solutions to actual challenges within the security domain

We are also looking for the following background and experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a software developer
• Experience with backend development of enterprise software applications
• Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Familiarity with Angular, React or similar
• Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies
• Good understanding for code design and best practices
• Experience with working in cross functional teams and agile processes
• Fluent in English and good communication and presentation skills
