As Plant Controller at Envalior, you will be responsible for the Operational Control activities of the Emmen production site, additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new methods to contribute to our values and mission. you are the experienced Finance professional who will be part of a Plant Management Team but also be part of a team of Global Finance professionals. Key finance position in on one of the major production sites in the Envalior network, you will make key contributions to Envalior:

• Acting as a Proactive business partner with strong (data) analytical skills who is able to understand the financial performance numbers & metrics and its underlying business drivers.

• Leading change in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment while at the same moment making sure to have a good eye for the necessary stakeholder management

• Taking up space and presenting in Senior Stakeholder Meetings, to build a convincing fact-based story on the site’s performance and drive value accordingly

• Operate as integrated part of global and site teams in Envalior

• Work on optimizing and harmonizing financial processes & reporting and implementing best practices – incl strategic restructuring projects with impact on ICT Finance systems.

• Ability to effectively operate in virtual teams across the region and globe, with multiple stakeholders (in- and outside of Envalior)

• Owner of the budgeting and forecasting process of plant CAPEX and FOOP, and provide explanation, analysis and recommendations to Site Controller and Plant Management

• Act as gatekeeper of product costing/ raw material / cycle design & output consumption analysis and support category management and business decisions for the site

• Review important business cases and provide support to the Continuous Improvement, Business Operations Strategy analyses etc.

• Review of capital expenditure proposal(s) and finalize IRR assessments

• Execute the job within the applicable QESH structure and system, provide proposals for further enhancing the QESH structure and system to contribute to ensure a safe and healthy working place for employees

This position is one out of two main Finance representatives on the site Emmen (350 FTEs).

In this role you will be reporting to the Site Controller, Emmen. You will be part of the Plant Management Team Compounding or Poly. You will be working in a rapidly changing environment, undergoing a major transformation as we are building a new world leader in high-performance materials.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum education required, e.g. Academic graduate: Business Administration, PhD in Organic Chemistry

• You have a master's degree in accounting/finance

• You are a finance professional with broad knowledge of and track record in Finance and Control processes in various businesses/operations/ SCM/manufacturing environments;

• You are able to manage a complex network of stakeholders

• You have experience in project management, including digitalization of financial processes

• You are familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies;

• You are familiar with IFRS;

• Experience with SAP (Product costing, project management, FICO);

• Experience with SAP BW and PowerBI is a plus

• You have excellent communication, planning and organizational skills;

• Experience with Dutch business environments is preferred (incl knowledge / strong willingness to learn / and working closely with specialists to ensure compliance with local tax and financial reporting requirements, in particular for Belgium)

• You are a pragmatic entrepreneur, willing to build and maintain relations on different levels both internally and externally;

• You are fluent in English and Dutch
