Senior Embedded Software Engineer AUTOSAR

Aeva is transforming autonomy with its groundbreaking sensing and perception technology that integrates all key LiDAR components onto a silicon photonics chip in a compact module. We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with a focus on AUTOSAR methodology and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing application software components, participating in software processes, interacting with cross-functional teams, and engaging in internal and external meetings. The candidate will be involved in real-time system design, AUTOSAR methodology, development processes, issue resolution, language proficiency, driver development, AUTOSAR tools, system understanding, DevOps integration, communication protocols, leadership, platform experience, debugging skills, and scripting expertise.

• Real-time system design on ARM processors using C++ 11/14

• In-depth knowledge of communication protocols
• Hands-on mentality to guide and uplift team performance
• Familiarity with hardware platforms like Xilinx, SOC family, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and shell scripts
• Bazel-based CI/CD pipelines and static code analysis
• Extensive experience in crafting low-level drivers in embedded environments
• Diagnose and resolve intricate software and hardware issues
• Proficiency in debugging FPGA/ASIC hardware
