- Conduct in-depth database performance analysis of existing software applications.
- Identify and address database performance bottlenecks, tuning queries, and other issues impacting performance.
- Design and implement effective indexing strategies to improve query performance.
- Design and implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify database performance issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review and enhance SQL queries for performance.
- Work with architects and engineers to optimize database access patterns.
- Develop documentation related to database performance tuning and optimization.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and development tools.
Requirements
- Conduct in-depth performance analysis of existing web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test data for performance testing scenarios.
- Design performance tests using Neoload.
- Analyse results from performance tests to identify trends and area of improvement.
- Provide recommendations for improving application scalability and reliability.
- Develop documentation related to application performance tuning and optimization.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and development tools.
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years in a web application performance testing.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of performance testing tools like Neoload. Will consider candidate with HP LoadRunner, and/or Jmeter.
- Experience in web technologies (JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, Aurelia, HTML, CSS).
- Ability communicate the findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stake holders.
- Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or similar technologies.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
