- Lead the New Cooking Product Development Center of Excellence (COE) Team creating a dynamic product development environment that ensures differentiation, speed to market and financial requirements.
- Develop and build a high functioning team of engineers to carry out COE objectives. Attract and retain high caliber innovation talent.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team relevant to the design, management and coordination of activities for the new product development of innovative cooking products.
- Own the innovation pipeline and implement a pipeline prioritization model with visibility to Short/Mid/Long term projects
- Lead advanced research and development of new technologies and new innovations based on market and customer research, needs, pain points, requirements and regional standards.
- Ensure NPD Projects follow ITW’s Customer Back Innovation Process.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to keep abreast of new technologies and products being introduced into the marketplace.
