What You Will Do:

  • Operational Oversight: Regularly visit to ensure smooth operations of multiple field and shop locations, ensuring tasks are executed timely, effectively, and following company standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and safety.
  • Training & Development: Oversee training of supervisors and technicians, particularly in systems like Salt Water Disposal, Combustion Engines, Centrifugal Pumps, and Jet Lift for Artificial Lift using Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to industry and company safety standards, regularly conducting safety audits and drills.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and optimize inventory systems, ensuring accurate tracking, timely replenishment, and minimal wastage of parts and supplies. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish, monitor, and review performance metrics for the assigned locations to ensure quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including equipment, tools, and manpower, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal downtime.
  • Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, technological upgrades, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Reporting: Provide regular operational updates, challenges, and insights to higher management or executive teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience in the upstream oil and gas field services industry.
  • Experience managing and building oil and gas field service teams.
  • Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over 30 days and prepare action plans to achieve results
  • Supervision, including hiring, engagement, retention and performance management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience in the oil and gas industry

Physical Demands:

  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand for a full shift.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds and standing or walking in the work area for most of the day is a requirement of the job.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.
