Mimecast is seeking a Sales Engineer with pre-sales or IT background to the team, supporting our SMB New Business customer segmentation. This person will provide technical advice to Mimecast sales staff, partners, and customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide technical advice to support sales opportunities, engaging with technical contacts to position Mimecast services effectively.
- Collaborate with sales for qualification and sales strategies.
- Support complex solutions, oversee pre-sales proof-of-concepts, and work closely with the Service Delivery team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Effective communication of technical solutions to business-focused customers.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, and adaptable to learning new skills.
- Familiarity with networking, security technologies, and SaaS solutions.
- Experience in consultative selling and indirect sales environment.
