Senior Systems Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Global Business IT team. The team isresponsible for maintaining office IT infrastructure as well as developing and administeringinternal systems. The team supports OLX globally with remote and on-site support as well asprovides workplace IT to all users.

Senior Systems Engineer will plan, document, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and tools used to manage our global fleet of Windows and macOS endpoints.

What we're expecting from the candidate

• You are excited about building a scalable platform that leverages management tools such as EntraID, Microsoft Intune, JamfPro and other tools to design, implement, and support the endpoint infrastructure.
• You will develop mixed environment solutions for security, software distribution, zero-touch deployments, zero-trust models, and endpoint management.
• You’ll work alongside our IT Operations team, ServiceNOW, Infrastructure, Networking, and Information Security teams to keep our employees operating in an efficient and safe environment.
• You love solving problems at scale and have experience in creating a robust mixed environment (Windows, macOS) with a seamless experience for our end users and support teams.
• You are passionate about providing the best customer service experience possible. We are looking for someone who is highly adept at managing Windows endpoints on a global level, improving the end-user experience, and refining processes through automation.

What will you be doing?

• Run and maintain our management tools including Intune, EntraID, Okta, JamfPro, G-Suite, and CrowdStrike
• Document and support ongoing automation in endpoint deployment and management
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Windows and macOS
• Manage and support our endpoint fleet and its related infrastructure
• Evaluate, develop, and optimize pre & post-patching processes through comprehensive testing to ensure proper implementation of OS patches and other software updates
• Manage and maintain client configuration and security compliance standards across a few thousand endpoints across the globe
• Work as an escalation point for the global IT Operations team
• Create and maintain detailed and accurate documentation within Atlassian tools
• Partner with our IT Operations team, Infrastructure, and Security teams to keep our IT environment safe and efficient

Who we are looking for

• At least three years of experience in an IT Support (L3) role in an enterprise environment
• Excellent modern workspace management skills
• Extensive experience in Windows management using Intune and EntraID is required
• Knowledge of managing various IT tools and systems, endpoint security and networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of scripting (Powershell, Bash, or Python)
• You are a great teammate who is hardworking, learns quickly, and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Hands-on working with macOS, Android and iOS would be an advantage
