Western Digital is seeking an ambitious Director of Partnerships to own and drive several key partnership projects in its Flash business unit. These projects will span the enterprise and consumer domains. They will incorporate all stages of the partnership development process, from relationship building and early exploration to analysis and evaluation to negotiation and launch. The Director of Partnerships will also help build out the Partnerships function, including its processes, practices, and systems, since this function is itself a new capability at Western Digital.
The successful candidate will be a highly structured, data-driven, and analytical thinker, who brings thorough experience in primary and secondary market research, business case development, and financial modeling. He or she will be skilled in relationship incubation and continuous development as well as well-versed in cross-functional leadership and project management. Strong executive-level communications and storyboarding skills will likewise be critical to have in this position.
The Director of Partnerships will report to and work closely with the Senior Director of Partnerships at the Flash business unit at Western Digital.
Requirements
- Master of Business Administration.
- Minimum of three years at a leading management consulting firm.
- Experience working in the Technology industry.
- Highly structured, data-driven, and analytical thinker.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong executive-level communication and storyboarding skills.
