Builders Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with experience or knowledge of the Construction & Building industry to join our Bunnings team.

This role is based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne with the customer base primarily in the Hoppers Crossing/Altona area.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will develop an expertise in the products and services being promoted to market and optimize sales to our Commercial customers specifically across the construction and building sector, ensuring they receive the most appropriate, value-added solutions to suit their business needs.

As an Account Manager you will:

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve or exceed budgeted sales, maximize profit and product mix
• Build strong partnerships with clients to grow our market share and identify opportunities for new business
• Develop and execute strategies to address local opportunities and combat competitor activities
• Develop, implement and manage a budget that is aligned to company expectations
• Work collaboratively with our other members of the Bunnings network to ensure our Commercial customers are provided with the very best Price, Range and Service
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety

About You

We are seeking an experienced Account manager with strong relationship building, communication and stakeholder management skills. You will we tenacious, results driven and have a positive attitude which coupled with your exceptional customer service skills has seen you succeed in your roles thus far. You will also have:

• A Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with new customers
• Experience or knowledge of the Construction & Building industry
• Proven success in a sales role
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong customer focus and ability to build rapport
