Role and Missions — What you will do 🚀

As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and establishing key strategic partnerships. Your efforts will significantly impact Homa's success by securing partnerships with world-class studios, facilitating co-publishing collaborations with top-performing mobile games, and maintaining relationships with platform partners.

  • This role will report to and work closely with Homa’s VP of Business Development, creating and implementing a comprehensive partnership strategy to build a world-class studio ecosystem and optimize our partnerships with app stores and other distribution partners.
  • Lead end-to-end deal-making process, including sourcing, negotiating, structuring, and closing deals.
  • Utilize your industry knowledge and Homa's assets to identify and execute innovative initiatives for sourcing studios and partners.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new partners to ensure smooth integration.
  • Cultivate valuable relationships that define Homa's identity and contribute to our growth.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact partnership and publishing success.
  • Manage and grow app store/distribution partnerships to maximize game reach and user acquisition.
  • Stay informed about platform updates, policies, and industry trends related to digital distribution and store management, collaborating with internal product teams to adapt strategies and optimize our business.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to leverage partnerships for mutual benefit.
  • Monitor partnership performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

Preferred Experience—What's your profile 👀

If you’re creative, ambitious, and up for taking over the industry, we want you on our team!

  • 5-8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related field at a mobile game developer/publisher, mobile app store or distribution company
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing deals with game studios and publishers
  • Strong network within the mobile games industry, particularly in hyper/hybridcasual games.
  • Proven track record of managing app store relationships and championing app store initiatives internally collaborating with game teams to implement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
