YOUR ROLE

You will join ZURU's in-house design team focusing on our 'Baby' vertical (Brands: Rascal+Friends & Millie Moon). Work on our global brands and bring them to life through your creative designs across social media, digital platforms, video, and print. Get involved in photoshoots and castings, and help elevate our collaterals to new levels. You will own the space from conceptualization to execution.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

You will lead and create visually engaging graphics, collateral, and digital assets for various projects.

1. Create visually appealing graphics and collateral for a wide range of projects

2. Provide creative leadership and vision for design projects

3. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Creative Direction

• Develop visually compelling and conceptually robust designs for diverse touch points, encompassing digital, print, web and video assets
• Provide creative leadership and vision for design projects
• Art direction for content photo shoots, from ideation to liaising with photographers/stylists etc
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines
• Conceptualise and present design ideas to internal stakeholders
• Ensure brand consistency across all design materials, including typography, colour schemes, and design elements
• Create top-tier digital content, including social tiles, Instagram stories, animations, and videos
• Produce printed design assets for retail and advertising
• Design presentations using Figma
• Craft comprehensive creative briefs for both in-house and external creative teams
• Maintain an eye for detail and high-quality design standards

Conceptualisation and Innovation

• Contribute fresh and innovative ideas during brainstorming and ideation sessions
• Propose creative solutions aligned with project goals and market trends

Project Ownership

• Lead design direction of brand campaigns, taking ownership from concept to completion

• Understand project requirements and timelines, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables

Collaboration and Mentorship

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
• Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to ensure a seamless workflow and high-quality output
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and other relevant departments

REQUIRED

• 8-10+ years of proven experience as a graphic designer
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and ideally Adobe After Effects and Figma
• A good understanding of print production processes
• Experience in packaging is an added advantage
• Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro is an added advantage
