Job Title: Manager | Senior Solutions Architect - Oil & Gas
Location – Mumbai Prefered
Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas software
industry to join our team as a Senior Solutions Architect. This role requires a deep understanding of
industry-specific challenges and a proven track record in gathering requirements, designing solutions,
and supporting pre-sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
a) Requirement Analysis and Solution Design - Oil & Gas:
 Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehensively understand their
requirements, objectives, and challenges within the oil and gas sector.
 Lead the process of translating business needs into technical requirements and solution designs.
 Utilize industry knowledge and technical expertise to develop robust, scalable, and innovative
solutions.
 Ensure that all proposed solutions align with organizational strategic goals and technological
capabilities.
b) Pre-sales Support - Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing:
 Partner with the sales and technology teams to design and present compelling solutions to
prospective clients.
 Engage in pre-sales activities such as solution presentations, product demonstrations, and
technical discussions.
 Provide technical expertise during the proposal and negotiation phases to address client
requirements effectively.
 Contribute to the development of proposals, RFP responses, and other technical
documentation.
c) Alliance Support / GTM Strategy:
 Drive alliance support activities by establishing and nurturing relationships with strategic
partners in the industry.
 Contribute to the development of go-to-market (GTM) strategies and tactical plans to expand
market presence.
 Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create collateral and campaigns that highlight
technological advantages and industry expertise.
Skills and Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
 10+ years of experience in the oil and gas software industry, with a focus on solution
architecture, requirements gathering, and client engagement.
 Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of upstream, midstream, or downstream processes within the
oil and gas sector.

 Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
 Experience with specialized software solutions used in oil and gas operations (e.g., SCADA
systems, reservoir simulation software, drilling optimization tools).
 Proficiency in managing and analyzing large datasets typical in oil and gas operations (e.g.,
seismic data, production data, IoT sensor data).
 Experience with data integration platforms and tools to streamline data workflows and enhance
decision-making processes.
 Strong proficiency in Python programming language for scripting and automation will be
preferred.
 Extensive experience in cloud architecture and deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
 Proven ability to design and deliver complex software solutions that meet business needs and
align with organizational goals.
 Experience in pre-sales support, including proposal development and client presentations.
 Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to alliance partnerships and GTM strategies.
