Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Business Development Director located in Suzhou Shengpu.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop winning strategies for growing Flex business, primarily focused on global OEMs manufacturing in China and Chinese based medical companies, built on deep understanding of geo-political factors and business climate in China, customers’ business strategies, future product plans, technical and supply chain requirements, in alignment with Flex’s capabilities and offerings.
  • Responsible for providing leadership in the planning, design and implementation of customers’ specific business plans and will provide vision, penetration strategies and tactics to executive managers in order to develop capabilities and value propositions to support winning and delivering of business solutions.
  • Responsible to establish and sustain external and internal senior level relationships to develop business opportunities in the innovation and manufacturing, and to close such deals and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support and/or participate in management team negotiations on difficult and or critical business matters, through interaction with senior and executive level managers both internally and externally.
  • Often performs project leadership role, coordinating the activities of cross-functional teams to deliver results. In this role, he/she will build the strategic goals of a product or project initiative and develop plans to achieve those goals.
  • Work closely with the extended Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure budgets, schedules and performance criteria are met.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • BS degree in engineering or other technical field preferred.
  • 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in a sales role related to medical technology innovation or manufacturing, or medical/pharmaceutical consumables.
  • Understand regulatory requirements in the manufacturing of medical products as it relates to regulations such as NMPA, FDA, EU-Medical Device Regulations etc.
  • Able to work independently to establish priorities, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Able to effectively communicate progress and success to stakeholders in a compelling, creative, and accessible way Responsible for development & deployment for automation project or automatic product via systematic tool
