ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Does (The tasks / responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas)

1. Sales and pipeline management

- Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking

- Drives the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed partnership

- Makes presentations to senior managers and decision makers

- Able to discuss basic lending products and services relevant to the customer

- Identifies points of negotiation and points to close deals

2. Business Development

- Scopes and understands the key processes and financial transactions of accounts to provide valuable lending solutions to partners

- In-depth understanding of the partner and partnership; knows what the business and partnership is all about and interjects how our lending services can help them or their network

- Develops programs to help ensure lending usage KPIs are met

- Develops strategy and go-to-market approach to optimize loan performance and to close partnerships

3. Account Management

- Responds to, acts on, and monitors the immediate resolution of partner concerns

a. Replies to emails within 24hours

b. Returns calls and SMS of partners within 4 hours

- Ensures simple issues and customer concerns are resolved, with the help of support groups within SLAs and escalates issues to IS when necessary

4. Reporting

- Complies to management systems and requirements to submit complete and accurate reports on time (i.e. pipeline, eligible base and loan take-up reports, etc.)

Displays (The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks / responsibilities will be performed)

1. Basic Lending Industry knowledge and product knowledge with deep understanding of client needs

- Ability to identify customer needs and relate it to product offerings which will be beneficial for the customer.

2. Confidence and Professionalism

- Able to carry a face to face discussion and basic negotiation with key contacts (internal and external)

3. Project Management Skills

- Ability to influence, lead and manage people across the organization in executing account programs or initiatives

4. Performance Driven

- Can assert own point of view, will own and drive initiatives and issue resolutions until desired results are achieved.

- Able to get the organization to help him achieve desired results or resolve issues for the customer.

5. Excellence and Integrity

- Reliable and dependable

- Equipped to provide high-quality work and service to customers and internal partners

- Shows respect for self and others

- Responsible and takes accountability for actions whether good or bad

- Trustworthy, especially with classified information and high-risk tasks

Delivers (specific outputs / tangible results produced by the role; resources responsible for)

-Tracks the progress or partnerships or sales funnels

-Conducts presentations to customers

-Monitors leads generation/ eligibility from the partnerships to conversion/ loan take up

-Development strategy for target key industries

-Timely submission of weekly/ monthly reports

-Other ad hoc tasks deemed necessary to meet kpis

KPIs

- Number of partnerships closed/ key partners onboarded

- Leads generation and leads conversion

- Project management

- Process documentation and improvement

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum requirements in terms of experience and background, skills and competencies for sourcing purposes)

-Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent qualification.

-At least 5 years experience in Business Development, Partner Management, Sales

-Lending background/ experience a plus

-Excellent communication and presentation skills

-Good interpersonal skills and a team player

-Good organization skills and has ability to multitask

-Focused, driven, goal-oriented

-Adaptable to the needs of the business.
