The Position

We are looking for an experienced Finance SAP Specialist to work in our Lisbon Hub.

Role Responsibilities:

Planning system responsibilities include:

  • System and data administration of FP&A Planning System, supporting Organization with Manufacturing, Sales, R&D, Corporate and general expense planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the Business, IT, senior leads, and other stakeholders as it relates to gaps/issues affecting planning system.
  • Support other planning activities such process improvement, internal controls, compliance with GAAP, Organon Policies & Procedures, etc.
  • Support finance master data management and governance, in collaboration with MDM/GBS function.
  • Actively work with teams to execute data reconciliation across transactional and planning/reporting systems and root cause analysis.
  • Review security access for planning systems and respond to audit inquiries
  • Assist with other ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed
  • Assist with Group Reporting/consolidation reporting as needed
  • Assist with SOx and SOD reviews, knowledge of S/4 or ECC t-codes

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Business Management and/or Information Science preferred
  • 2-3 years experience with SAC or planning systems
  • Knowledge of S/4 or ECC including t-codes, a must
  • Knowledge of SAC, Group Reporting a definite plus
  • Experience with Financial Budgeting and Planning in a complex Global Organization or Financial System Administration of SAP-based Products.
  • Experience in data mapping solutions for S/4HANA systems for data related to planning system
  • Experience in developing reports from S/4HANA, SAC and BW Analytics
  • Strong working knowledge of finance master data and financial reporting systems and SAP FICO/S4
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, learn on the fly, prioritize effectively.
  • Strong work ethics, and self-motivation to learn, speak up, and continually refine and improve on business processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels of business and in a global and regional team environment
  • Strong business acumen, analytics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills background to resolve or define data and process gaps
  • Demonstrated project experience in complex Finance system migrations & implementations
  • Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives in a matrix organization, managing cross-divisional initiatives, and cross-functional teams in an extremely lean, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Advanced S4HANA experience
  • Degree in Accountancy, Financial Business Management and/or Information Science preferred, CPA a plus.
