As Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Officer, you'll work closely with the Internal Communications & People Experience leads to deliver engaging content and ensure an exceptional experience for our global workforce. Reporting to CDP’s Associate Director Internal Communications, the Senior Internal Communications and Engagement Officer role is pivotal in driving effective communication strategies that resonate with our colleagues. The role involves creating engaging content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, presentations, and videos. The successful candidate will write and edit messages from various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and consistency in tone and style. Additionally, this role involves managing and optimizing internal communication channels, overseeing the internal communication planner and inboxes. As Senior Internal Communications and Engagement Officer, you will also work closely with our People team on their culture and community building activity across our global workforce, therefore an interest and experience with wellbeing, DEI and team building activities is key.
This role will lead regional activation of internal campaigns and develop initiatives to enhance local engagement in global campaigns, contributing to a positive organizational culture. Finally, the role will also work closely with the Associate Director of Internal Communications to the execution of internal events such as town halls, webinars, and other employee forums. The role includes:
• Identify and address communication needs and opportunities within the organization that inspires hearts and minds.
• Create engaging content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, presentations, and videos.
• Write and edit messages from various stakeholder, ensuring clarity and consistency in tone and style • Manage and optimize internal communication channels to ensure effective dissemination of information.
• Oversee the internal communication calendar to ensure timely delivery of messages and initiatives • Work closely with HR (particularly People Experience) and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts.
• Lead on regional activation of internal campaigns and develop initiatives to enhance local engagement in global campaigns.
• Support on execution of internal events, such as town halls, webinars, and other employee forums.

The successful candidate should have the following experience:

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Passion for culture building and creating engaging activities centered around well being, D&I and community.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email marketing software, social media).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Flawless (C2 or native level) written English
• Highly organized way of working to set and meet deliverables according to deadlines and high-quality standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with graphic design and video production is a plus.
