Specifications Analyst

• Utilize the Engineering Change Management system
• Maintain and update the Master Parts List (MPL) in the mainframe system
• Communicate status and issues regarding deliverables in an accurate and timely manner
• Write and ensure accuracy of engineering work orders
• Analyze and interpret highly complex engineering information
• Perform root cause analysis
• Make part changes and process said changes for the DREs
• Understand the usage and location of the part on the vehicle [interior, body exterior, chassis (tires, brakes, shocks), or electrical]
• Work on several parts, changing focus as needed

Requirements

• Applicant required to work ON SITE in Warren, MI Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday applicant can work remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field preferred)
• A minimum of 2+ years of industry experience outside of internships and Co-Ops
• Demonstrated abilities in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
• Coding (C4X)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work and react appropriately to urgent requests
