Purpose of the Position

The Data Scientist position at Celes is crucial for harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and efficiency in the retail sector. The primary purpose of this role is to analyze large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities that inform the development of machine learning (ML) models. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying advanced forecasting and optimization algorithms to solve critical business challenges. The Data Scientist will ensure the robustness and reliability of models through rigorous testing and validation, apply dynamic business rules for data enrichment, and maintain data consistency.

Moreover, this position requires adept troubleshooting and debugging skills, efficient management of cloud resources, and adherence to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities as inputs for your ML models.

Requirements and competences to work with us

• 3+ years of professional data scientist or similars
• 3+ years of professional hands-on ML models development with Python.
• Experience with libraries/frameworks like Pandas, PySpark, Scikit-learn, Prophet, TensorFlow, SciPy
• Experience working with any Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Experience working with microservices.
