Senior Data Analyst

ServiceTitan is looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Product Intelligence Analytics team. This is a highly visible role that interacts with senior leadership and focuses on one of the company’s top priorities - making data-driven pricing decisions for our products. This person in this role will create BI solutions to accurately and efficiently collect, report, and analyze pricing data. Additionally, this role involves synthesizing complex data into actionable recommendations, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders, and providing analytical support to the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with data, full-stack analytical skills, strong business acumen, and effective communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• Develop data-driven pricing strategies for products and offerings and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability
• Use analytical tools to pinpoint instances of underbilling and missed charges
• Conceptualize, build, manage and maintain pricing, contract, and billing data
• Take the lead on the design, implementation, and delivery of BI solutions that help drive pricing decisions and facilitate automatic billing
• Establish monitoring systems and documentation to ensure data quality
• Support Finance forecast and monthly close with timely and accurate reporting on contract and billing data
• Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to the executive team and business leads and influence decision-making
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive results through data insights and strategic partnerships

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience working with big data; preferably 2+ years of experience with pricing and financial data
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline or commensurate technical experience
• Proficient in SQL, Tableau and Excel
• Experience in data pipeline tools such as dbt and Apache Airflow
• Have a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies in data
• Ability to challenge the status quo and take ownership of assigned projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with the business, operations and technology teams
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in Canada is between $102,000 CAD - $154,000 CAD. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
