Embedded Software Engineer I

As an Embedded Software Engineer I at Plexus, you will be part of a team developing embedded software for products across a wide range of industries and at all phases of product development. You will also collaborate closely with other disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, user-centered design, and others.

**Key Job Accountabilities:

• Develops engineering/product concepts that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
• Successfully executes responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' engineering process.
• Demonstrates a clear, discipline-specific understanding of the full value stream (Conceptualize, Design, Commercialize, Manufacture, Fulfill, Sustain) as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.
• Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.

Technical Qualifications

• Hands on experience working with Embedded software / ARM Microcontrollers (Sensors & Actuators)
• Working experience with C++ & STL
• Understanding of Object Oriented Design & Object Oriented Programming (OOD/OOP)
• Familiar with common OO Design Patterns and principles

**Education/Experience Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• One (1) or more years of related experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
