ABOUT THE JOB

The Mayor’s Office Director of Boards and Commissions is seeking an unpaid, part-time Intern. The intern will have exposure to the 130+ Boards and Commissions and the 1,200 appointees with the City and County of Denver. The intern will assist the Deputy Director of Boards and Commissions with updating the mayoral boards and commissions database. The intern would also assist in preparing information that will support the Mayor’s decisions regarding appointment. This opportunity is available from September-December 2024 for 15 weeks. This is a part-time internship requiring 16-20 hours per week during normal business hours which are 8:00am – 5:00pm. Hours/schedule are flexible but this position is IN-PERSON.

The intern will experience a fast-paced, professional environment specific to mayoral boards, office administration, and special projects and will learn about the Mayor and his initiatives and Denver municipal government and public service. The ...
