Assistant Restaurant Manager

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Delivering excellence to all guests and crafting lasting culinary experiences
• Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising restaurant team, including waiters, wine waiters, hosts, bartenders, and support personnel
• Ensuring exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on hospitality standards, and resolving issues promptly
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and coordinating timely food preparation with the kitchen staff
• Maintain a professional relationship with guests and colleagues; -
• Anticipate guests needs and handle guest complaints;
• Assist the Restaurant Manager on monitoring stock levels and alignment to the department financial objectives

Requirements

What You Bring:

· Proven track record of managing successful restaurants, overseeing staff, and achieving financial targets

• Knowledge of menu planning, food quality standards, wine and beverage service, food safety and sanitation, and industry trends
• Professional experience at an michelin starred restaurant within the same role
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills; ability to effectively lead and motivate team
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions quickly, adapt to changing circumstances, and find effective solutions to issues that may arise
