Academic Content Specialist

About the role:

Varsity Tutors seeks an Academic Content Specialist to create, curate, edit, and manage learning content for its state-of-the-art educational technology tools. This person will build frameworks for personalized, adaptive learning; write and edit lessons, articles, and practice questions; identify and direct subject-matter experts in the creation of educational material; and help design and architect digital learning tools and programs.

The Academic Content Specialist is responsible for content creation, quality, and delivery as well as overall student experience for several educational initiatives that drive the visibility and reputation of the Varsity Tutors brand. This person will create learning experiences for learners of all ages and interests, including:

• Creating written and video lesson content for the My Learning experience, where students learn new skills and undertake challenge quizzes to assess and practice those skills.
• Creating study guides, resources, and adaptive experiences for learners preparing for high-stakes exams.
• Developing resources for leaders of academic and enrichment classes and camps.
