Product operations involve the strategic and tactical activities that support the development, delivery, and optimization of a product throughout its lifecycle. Product operations aim to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and foster collaboration across various teams within an organization. This role encompasses tasks such as project management, cross-functional coordination, data analysis, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Product operations managers work to ensure that the product development process is well-organized, meets timelines, and aligns with business goals. They focus on optimizing workflows, managing resources effectively, and implementing best practices to drive successful product outcomes.

As a Senior Product Operations Specialist at Monotype (Location: NOIDA), you should have around 7 of experience and will be focusing on the following aspects:

1. Roadmap prioritization, attainment & measurement.

 Maintain & adjust the roadmaps and progress for stronger operational excellence.

 Help resolving roadblocks/risks while collaborating with PMO for some projects.

 Enable product managers to calculate ROI and maintain the tracker.

 Work with product manager and ensure they create a detailed product documentation around discovery, value management and realization.

2. Process Optimization

 Work with engineering and agile leadership to create a healthy process towards SETEs, Production Engineering issues.

 Work with leadership to create a well-rounded delivery process and monitor its execution and effectiveness.

 Ensuring product runbooks are getting followed.

3. Data Analysis

 Support Product Analytics leader to escalate cross functional data quality issues and get them resolved.

 Work with Product Analytics leader to manage VOC and other PA insights and manage their prioritization.

4. Budget Management

 Work closely with resource managers to ensure that the necessary human and technical resources are allocated appropriately to meet project goals.

 Responsible for creating a proper CAPEX and OPEX view for the product teams.

 Work with channel & service owners to create a proper COGS view.

5. Vendor Management

 Ensure proper implementation of new tools and services. b. Handle user management across all tools we use in product.
