ScottishPower’s (SP’s) Customer Business deploys hundreds of thousands of smart meters per annum to meet its mandatory obligation for Smart Metering. SP Smart Meter Assets Ltd is a Meter Asset Provider (MAP), responsible for purchasing and funding the installation of these smart meters on behalf of the Customer Business. The business has been operating for 7 years, generating annual revenues of up to £100m and Operating Profit of £30m. The MAP business has assets in use by the SP Customer Business and almost all other energy suppliers in the market.

What you’ll be doing

• Commercial oversight of the end-to-end procurement process to secure contracts for the provision of products and services for the MAP business including:
• Responsibility for the provision of assets to a CAPEX value in excess of c£20million and services to an OPEX value in excess of c.£2 million per year
