Job description

• A successful candidate will be a graduate and an expert in network and security domain, possessing 12 to years years of experience.

• Work on network and security operations, manage escalations and high severity tickets submitted by customers through ticketing system

• Provide network technical expertise to network security support and engineering resources When necessary, provide guidance around network issues and suggest workarounds and solutions

• Work on new solution development, presales opportunity

• Responsible for detailed documentation of solutions

• Able to analyze and communicate strengths and weaknesses of network technology solutions, relative to network security, performance and cost

• Must have project management skills and proven ability to drive projects to completion

• Able to work effectively in a highly complex and dynamic environment

• Ensure that deliverables are produced within the planned budget and timeframe

• Conduct routine hardware and software audits of all supported systems to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and requirements

• Maintain relationship with vendors, consultants and ensure that network security standards and deliverables are met

• Report progress to supervisor and project managers, including the preparation of weekly status reports

EXPERIENCE

• Hands on experience on Cisco IOS, Nexus routing and switching
• Hands on experience on BGP, MP-BGP and OSPF routing protocols
• Hands on experience on firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Sophos
• Hands on experience in design and implement of network virtual appliances in Cloud
• Hands on experience in F5 load balancers
• Hands on experience in Bluecoat, Zscalar, Cisco Umbrella and Netspoke web proxy solutions
• Hands on experience in SD-WAN -Versa, Silverpeak, Juniper, Fortinet
• Hands on experience in Cisco ISE, and Cisco ACS
• Hands on experience in configuring and setting up WAF
• Knowledge in Prisma Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Qradar
• Experience in NXOS/IOS L2, VLANs and PVLANs, Spanning-Tree Protocols and Port-Channels
• Experience in NXOS/IOS VRF, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols
• Hands on experience in NXOS/IOS QOS
• Extensive knowledge in IKE v1/V2, IPSEC S2S VPN, remote access VPN (IPSEC, SSL client and clientless VPN)
• Experience with the design, provisioning and troubleshooting of WAN and LAN connectivity technologies
