Senior Accountant

We are seeking our first full-time dedicated accountant to lead our financial operations and prepare us for a period of significant growth. Our ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience handling all aspects of the accounting process on a small, fast-moving team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will report directly to the CEO and will collaborate closely with our Operations Manager to provide financial insights and support decision-making. The Role

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation and cost control
• Handle complex accounting matters related to landed costs and warranties
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard company assets
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and scalability in financial operations to support company growth

Required Qualifications

• Expert in NetSuite ERP in a Manufacturing setting
• Experience leading / owning all aspects of the month-end close process

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data for strategic decision-making
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges in a dynamic setting

The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. Position also includes stock options that are subject to vesting.
