Senior Fundraising Officer

As Senior Fundraising Officer, Faculty Medicine and Health, you will be an integral member of the team within the Advancement Portfolio, developing relationships with high-net-worth donors, connecting their passions with work that would otherwise not be undertaken, or education and outreach opportunities to support the next generation of leaders and thinkers. You will build strong internal relationships with senior leaders to understand how their critical work can be aligned with donor passions. You would be a part of lifting the profile of philanthropy across the institution.

Working in the Advancement portfolio for the University of Sydney you will be part of a team that has supported:

• Development of a new building that brings all our medicine and health disciplines into a single space supporting multidisciplinary research and teaching
• Using molecular analysis to understand tumour biology so clinicians can tailor treatment according to the individual needs of each patient
• Creation of the Neil Smith Chair of Sustainable Transport to spur uptake of renewable energy in the transport sector.
