Market Research Analyst

Job Summary:

The role is expected to have an experience and develop expertise in a wide range of tasks supporting various functions such as Desk Research, Market Intelligence, Competitor Research, Events Planning, and Data Reporting. Such tasks may involve general database management, data analysis and reporting and presentation creation and other tasks within the mentioned cluster as may be applicable.

Accountabilities:

• Gather and maintain data on the events industry
• Conduct research and analysis on industry competitors and their products and services
• Format, analyze, and visualize raw data for reporting (using apps like MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Manage data held in database management systems using SQL or similar languages
• Create and conduct presentations on analyzed data, reports, or projects
• Maintain existing regular reports/dashboards and develop new ones
• Assist in driving local operations initiatives/projects
• Identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes and implement solutions
• Create and maintain process documents

Other Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field
• Must have at least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong analytical, quantitative and deductive reasoning skills
• Good communicator and strong presentation skills
• Project management skills
• Background in using reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Some experience in database management systems and languages (e.g. SQL)
• Research skills
• Continuous Learning and Improvement mindset
• Driven, independent, and self-motivated worker
