The Vice President of Growth for our Commercial business unit is pivotal in propelling our rapidly expanding business into the realm of large-scale enterprises. Leveraging our stellar track record and robust existing contracts, this role demands a visionary leader who will strategically drive new business development and scale our growth function by developing new relationships with key stakeholders and identifying lucrative opportunities within the commercial enterprise sector. With a hands-on approach to team leadership and an expert understanding of technology consulting and professional services business models, the VP of Growth will ensure our business not only meets its ambitious growth targets but also sets new benchmarks in the industry, effectively transitioning us into a global brand. Some of the key responsibilities you will have in this role include but not limited to:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to technology services in the commercial enterprise market, specifically the FS&I (Financial Services and Insurance) and Healthcare sectors.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed market research to understand the needs of customers, trends in the market, and competitive landscape within the commercial enterprise sector.
  • Research and understand budget trends and priorities of target accounts.
  • Use insights to refine and adapt growth strategies effectively.
  • Business Development and Sales:
  • Lead and expand business development activities, including networking, partnerships, and bid proposal activities.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders in the target account base to build relationships and secure contracts.
  • Build a strong pipeline to hit the growth targets year over year.
  • Develop diversification across accounts and growth in existing accounts.
  • Lead the business development and capture teams on activities including but not limited to prospecting and qualifying new business to drive Oteemo’s market share.
  • Continually refine and improve business development and proposal practices for Oteemo.
  • Lead all new business capture efforts for Oteemo.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Build, manage, and mentor a team focused on commercial sales, marketing, and customer relations.
  • Ensure team alignment with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with client services and operations teams during capture and proposal cycles.

Performance Metrics:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) related to growth and ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the commercial business unit to the CEO.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in business development with a demonstrable track record of selling technology professional services to Fortune 1000 commercial enterprises.
  • Sales leadership experience with demonstrable track record of hitting sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated success in building a qualified pipeline valued over $150M;
  • Direct experience running capture on both quick turn-around task orders and larger single award opportunities valued up to $100M.
  • Experience with positioning and selling digital solutions with a combination of nearshore or offshore delivery teams.
  • Ability to work in a small and dynamic team and help with transformation of a small business into a large business.
  • Education: A degree in business, management, or a related field; an MBA will be a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking, proficiency in managing teams, and a deep understanding of professional services procurement processes.
