Tech Lead

This position sits within our Experience & Engineering team, as part of a new International Delivery Centre. We primarily deliver large-scale website design and build projects, combining our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to help clients including Google, TikTok, eBay, ASOS, Zoopla, Twitch, Patagonia and many, many more.

We are currently in the process of creating a new International Delivery Centre in India, focussed on delivering award winning work for a range of global clients. We are looking for a number of experts who can help set the standard in the new centre whilst starting to work on a range of exciting digital projects.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead to lead the development of our Engineering team in India. This is someone who understands the business behind development, and someone who can successfully convert our customers' digital dreams into a well-functioning platform.

As the Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in building and shaping the team's culture, guiding technical direction, and ensuring successful project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the technical design of the customer solution, realized without losing sight of the feasibility, financial impact, performance and operational security.
• Guide our customers to their new digital future and guide our development teams to do their magic!
• Mentor and coach our junior, medior and senior developers.
• Have the freedom to improve the team according to your own insight and we trust you to make the most of this opportunity.
• Cooperate closely with our clients to capture their requirements, investigate issues and identify new solution development opportunities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 7+ years work experience and a broad knowledge of the IT world;
• Analytical and conceptual thinker, who thinks about architecture on a strategic level;
• Experience with, or are an expert in Java, Javascript, Node.js, .NET or PHP;
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure of AWS;
• Ability to present your ideas and solutions in clear diagrams, with efficient and easy to read documentation, supported by defined quality attributes;
• From e-commerce and DXP, to building and designing API ecosystems on cloud platforms, you have great ideas when thinking of the best solutions for our customers;
• Always keep security and performance in mind when coming up with software architecture;
• Have experience in working with external clients and projects;
• Working proficiency of English;
• Flexibility to work in European time zones.
