We are seeking an experienced engineer to be a part of the Firmware Test Development Team. The team's primary objective is to develop automated test scripts which validate HDD firmware against industry standards, customer specs, and internal features/functions. The team works hand in hand with Firmware Development engineers and Firmware Validation engineering to define and enable testing for next generation WD drive products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop new test scripts to validate new WD Enterprise HDD firmware and hardware features.
- Help maintain our vast library of 1000s of test scripts to be compatible with the latest and greatest generational products as well be compliant with the latest industry standards and customer specifications.
