The Role

Your mission

As a Strategic Project Manager, you will be a key member of the CEO Office team, instrumental in shaping the growth trajectory of a private equity-funded software company. Your primary focus will be on M&A projects, encompassing the entire process from market analyses and target identification to due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration. This role demands close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders both within and outside the organization. You will gain valuable insights rapidly while driving projects of significant strategic importance.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative market analyses to inform our mid- and long-term strategies and identify potential acquisition targets
• M&A Leadership: Oversee the execution of M&A deals, including the management of Due diligence processes
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from various departments, including Revenue, Product, Finance, and Legal, to ensure seamless project execution
• Business Integration: Lead the integration of acquired businesses, including P&L tracking and enabling all teams for smooth knowledge transfer and operations
• SOP Development: Drive the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for M&A deals
• Board and Investor Communication: Assist in the preparation of materials for Board Meetings and other investor communications.

We are looking for:

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a high-growth environment (such as Consulting, Finance, Tech, or Venture Capital)
• High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong affinity for financial analyses and business case development
• Excellent project management skills and ability to thrive in dynamic environments
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong drive and desire to learn
• Exceptional communication skills
• Fluency in English and German
