Role: Head of Marketing

About:
Our client is one of the UK’s most respected and fastest growing luxury fashion businesses. Operating from its own standalone factory a short walk from Manchester city centre, the business is experiencing rapid growth and has ambitions to treble in size over the next 5 years.
The Role:
As the Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for championing the brand, leading the development and execution of marketing programs across all channels. This involves managing the marketing team, budgets, key suppliers, and marketing communications strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Championing the – leading direction, owning guidelines, brand P&L
- Creation, development and execution of marketing programs and brand plans
- Leading internal marketing team to deliver activity across full marketing mix including performance marketing, email, digital, PR, social and events
- Brand budget management and responsible for budget planning, delivery, and execution to support the brand growth goals & ROI
- Development & communication of brand vision, brand programs & assets
- Work closely with Design Director on developing strategic plans to support seasonal launches
- Manage key suppliers across brand, design, digital/social, PR and activation to deliver campaign and brand plans within budget
- Leading strategy for marketing communications working closely with and helping lead wider team to deliver on campaigns
- Developing and mentoring brand team to grow experience & knowledge and responsibilities
- Being the voice of the consumer – aligning activity with consumer insights for maximum impact
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 8+ years of experience in a brand marketing role, preferably in fashion and/or a luxury consumer goods environment
- Strong knowledge and expertise across D2C and digital platforms and activating this channel
- Creative and an idea generator – able to jump into the full marketing mix
- Strong communicator and able to manage and liaise with key stakeholders
- Organised with strong project management skills and able to juggle deadlines
- Exceptional leadership skills
- A self-motivated team player with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Experience in managing agencies
