Emerging Technology Director

You will be responsible for

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrating emerging technologies into the tourism sector. Identify and prioritize key technology trends and opportunities that align with the Saudi Tourism Authority’s objectives

Lead the exploration and adoption of new technologies such as AI, IoT, VR/AR, blockchain, and big data analytics. Evaluate the potential impact of emerging technologies on tourism experiences and operations

Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of technology projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget

Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, technology vendors, and startups to drive innovation. Foster partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry leaders

Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the success of technology initiatives. Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy in all technology projects

Build and lead a high-performing team of technology professionals. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Ensure all technology initiatives comply with local and international regulations and standards. Stay informed about regulatory changes and their potential impact on technology projects

Perform other activities as and when required.

You will need

At least 10 years of experience in relevant field

Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Computer Science or equivalent is preferred

تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجية شاملة لدمج التقنيات الناشئة في قطاع السياحة. تحديد وترتيب أولويات الاتجاهات والفرص التقنية الرئيسية التي تتوافق مع أهداف الهيئة السعودية للسياحة

قيادة استكشاف واعتماد التقنيات الجديدة مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء والواقع الافتراضي/الواقع المعزز وسلسلة الكتل وتحليلات البيانات الضخمة. تقييم التأثير المحتمل للتكنولوجيات الناشئة على التجارب والعمليات السياحية

الإشراف على تخطيط وتطوير وتنفيذ المشاريع التكنولوجية. ضمان تسليم المشاريع في الوقت المحدد، ضمن النطاق والميزانية

تعاون مع الفرق الداخلية والشركاء الخارجيين وبائعي التكنولوجيا والشركات الناشئة لدفع الابتكار. تعزيز الشراكات مع المؤسسات الأكاديمية والمنظمات البحثية وقادة الصناعة

الاستفادة من البيانات والتحليلات لإرشاد عملية صنع القرار وقياس نجاح المبادرات التكنولوجية. ضمان سلامة البيانات والأمن والخصوصية في جميع مشاريع التكنولوجيا

بناء وقيادة فريق عالي الأداء من المتخصصين في مجال التكنولوجيا. إرشاد وتطوير أعضاء الفريق، وتعزيز ثقافة التعلم المستمر والابتكار

التأكد من أن جميع المبادرات التقنية تتوافق مع اللوائح والمعايير المحلية والدولية. ابق على اطلاع بالتغييرات التنظيمية وتأثيرها المحتمل على مشاريع التكنولوجيا

ما لا يقل عن 10 سنوات من الخبرة في المجال ذي الصلة

درجة البكالوريوس في تكنولوجيا المعلومات / علوم الكمبيوتر أو ما يعادلها
