As a UX Researcher, what are you going to do?

• Work collaboratively with an internal team and stakeholders.
• Discover and research current services or business ideas.
• Observe and interview users in the field (might require travel and time away from the office).
• Facilitate workshops/ focus groups/ design sprints and interviews with stakeholders.
• Outline key success metrics to measure and communicate desirability, feasibility, and viability outcomes.
• Research the current market, technology, and “cross-pollination” possibilities.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements, documentation and presentations.
• Define the findings from research and map the service and user experiences using personas, scenarios, user journeys and service blueprints.
• Prototype the solutions, physical or digital.
• Prepare and conduct tests with users.
• Facilitate and help stakeholders with prioritization and implementation.

What are the skills and professional experience we’re expecting from you?

• Proven designs and experience of launched services that have been implemented in the real world.
• A holistic approach to projects, zooming out and connecting the interdependencies of all service elements.
• Deep knowledge of an array of user research methodologies
• Ability to design and conduct usability studies—i.e., identify potential solution options for a stated user need and design experiments that help elicit the most viable solution for users
• Experience managing communications with users and stakeholders
• Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practice
• Working knowledge of statistics and experimental design
• Strong ability to generate and communicate compelling and actionable insights, both verbally and visually
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
• Good business awareness skills and an understanding of how different businesses operate.
• Ability to emerge with the users through empathy methodologies;
• Availability and flexibility to travelling and accommodate schedules to conduct user field research;
• Good English skills.
